try avoiding greasy and red meats if possible. Also food that is fried should be avoided.

Eat lots of salads, veggies, fruits, oatmeal.

They say that 80 percent of cholesterol is made in the liver, so this is where statins come in.

The most practical thing you can do it to forget about it. Your levels are fine. Think about why you want to lower your levels. You have been brainwashed by the drug companies. You apparently believe the cholesterol myth.
High cholesterol is not a disease.
My level is 320 and I wouldn’t mind if it goes higher.
High cholesterol was invented by the drug companies to sell you statins for the rest of your life. Statins cause serious side effects including memory loss.

    Some cholesterol lowering foods include:
Oatmeal. It can help lower cholesterol and is cheaper than most breakfasts too. Add some fruit or nuts if you want more flavour or sweetness.
Almonds. They are a great snack to eat in between meals that can help lower cholesterol.
Fish, like tinned salmon and sardines. For lunch try a salmon and salad sandwich on whole grain bread.
    When cooking use Olive oil.
