dietary cholestrol is not as big and bad of an issue as you may think because it is something the body can manufacture itself if you aren’t eating enough of it. the only difference is the body knows how much you need where as you don’t so when you eat things high in cholestrol you get more than your body needs. a better way to control your cholestrol levels is through exercise. however, since you asked just try keep your cholesterol intake as low as you can day to day. this may mean avoiding red meat for the most part or just eating egg whites instead of the whole eggs. read this for more info:
as far as fat goes you should be getting at least 25% of your daily calories from healthy fats. so, if you’re eating 1500 cal a day on your diet that means you need about 42g of fat per day — its all relative to the amount of calories you are planning on consuming on your diet. (#cal per day x .25 = answer then take the answer and divide by 9cal per gram and you get # grams per day.)
A healthy person is recommended to eat : Fat should be 20-30 % of calories consumed per day. Sources may very. You should avoid animal fats. You need fat in your diet for hormone production and other things.
300 milligrams of cholesterol.
If your cholesterol is high then you should have a lot less.
I know because I had cholesterol of 210.
I suggest laying off cheese, fat milk and high fat meats. The cholesterol tends to be higher in these food sources. Turkey is the least fatty meat. Fish has some healthy fats that are suppose to help lower cholesterol. Never cook with any oil. It converts oils to trans-fat (that includes olive oil and canola oil). All together eat more vegetables in your diet. Less meat and dairy. Specially if it’s non skim milk. You don’t have to be a vegetarian just eat less foods with fat. Stick to carbs and vegetables with some small amouts of meat. Avoid any processed foods, Specially High Fructose Corn Syrup. Unlike sugar it goes right to the liver and is converted into fat. Read the labels.
And last but not least excersize. It is mandatory!
ya no what you could doooo…
when i stopped eating refined sugar, i got really skinny.
so, dont eat candy, SODA, sugary drinks, and ice cream. stuff like that. lots of fruit!!! it helps. :]
i went a couple of weeks with out it, and the changes were amazing!

200 mil or less if you need to lower it. About 100 grams of GOOD fats a day will also help you lower it..

It depends on your age, search for Recommended Dietary Allowance.
