The answer to that could be in your question….

“I had a big bowl of rolled oats….”

Try using a small bowl instead. and don’t use milk when you make it, try soya milk or water instead…

Some people do not get on with oats though and you could be one of those people. The link that the first answerer has given is very informative and useful…try some of the ideas on that.

Not sure about the oats thing, but generally a vegetarian diet could be expected to lower your cholesterol. Maybe now you know how good it is, you’ll be tempted to stick with it!

The Cholesterol Theory of Coronary Heart Disease is a COMPLETELY FALSE PARADIGM

NOT EVEN ONE well controlled Clinical Trial has ever shown any cardiovascular mortality benefit or overall mortality benefit from saturated fat restriction or dietary cholesterol lowering .

    FACT!

There are 18 CLINICAL Dietary Intervention Trials to date.

Look these up Los Angeles Veterans Administartion, MInnesoata Survey National Diet Heart Study- These are RANDOMIZED AND DOUBLE BLINDED -some of the 18 to date

Some more to look up some of the 18 to date

    Women’s Health Initiative 2006
    DART 1989
    Lyon Diet Heart Study 1994

P.S. When you eat less cholesterol YOUR BODY RESPONDS BY PRODUCING SLIGHTLY MORE.
