Full spectrum refers to VISIBLE light
    UV spectrum rays are invisible.
Full spectrum lights affect mood by visible light entering eyes and working directly on your pineal gland to alter your circadian rhythm. Visible light does nothing for your Vitamin D status.
UVB rays change the cholesterol in your skin into Vitamin d3.
Vitamin d receptors found in 900 different tissues 36organs, perform over 200 different actions.
    Every cell needs vitamin d3.

Well, you know, you can buy these full-spectrum sunlamps that drive your body to create vitamin D… The trick is to get a lamp that exceeds 10,000 lux, I’ve heard.

I grew up on the East and moved out West so I know what you mean. People tend to be more passive aggressive than anything. I like the weather, but you’re right about the fog and greyness. I got my vitamins tested and was pretty low on D, not much I can do except supplement for winter. As for diet, I think there is still a lot of things people don’t realize how much it affects you, your health and wellbeing.
